You may have heard of Sigelei – they’ve been around for many years. Admittedly, it has been a while since they’ve released anything that I’ve been excited to use and review, but it has finally arrived!
The Humvee is a bulky dual 18650 box mod with a rugged design that has obviously been heavily influenced by the all-terrain vehicle used by the army. When I first came across the Humvee, I was a little surprised it was made by Sigelei since it does have an uncanny Aegis ‘look’ to it.
It boasts up to 215 watts of power, it’s quite a large mod in dimensions and also very heavy compared to many other dual 18650 mods.
While it is a nice looking device, I do think the Humvee is going to be suited to a very niche audience mainly due to its size, but for now let’s take a closer look to see if it’s built as good as it looks just in case you are considering buying one.

PACKAGING & DESIGN
Youc an get the Humvee in four different colors: Red Rum, Camouflage Blue, Space Grey, and Camouflage Khaki, all of which have a military-inspired design to go with its name.
It’s made of aluminum alloy, zinc alloy and resin, according to Sigelei. As I touched on earlier, the design is quite similar to the Aegis Legend by Geekvape. If you’re a fan of the Legend, you’ll probably like this.
On the front of the mod you will find the fire button and the USB-C port beneath it. On one side, there is a 0.66″ OLED panel that is slightly slanted.
It is quite a small display for a mod of this size, and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I do think the positioning of the display is a little odd, but I suppose it does add to the overall quirkiness.
Beside the screen are the + and – buttons. The battery cover is on the base of the mod, with a latch securing it from opening indiscriminately. Now, I will say that this hinge design is not my favorite since I have seen these break on other devices over time, especially after being dropped.
Aside from the hinge, the body feels super solid with the main frame made of metal. It feels as premium as it looks. The resin wraps around the grip also feel great and give it very ergonomic & comfortable feel when held. Screws dot the case, giving the mod an industrial look that adds to its rugged design aesthetic.
Inside the box you’ll get the mod, a USB-type C cable, a user manual, a warranty card, and some spare parts.
FUNCTIONALITY
The Humvee isn’t all about it’s good looks, though. It also has a wide array of features to back it up. There’s nothing particularly new or special in the feature department, but it has everything you would expect of mod in its class.
The OLED displays the usual info such as battery level, power or temp you are in, the coil resistance, puff counter, a second counter, and your wattage.
The max output, as the name implies, is up to a very respectable 215 watts. The minimum output is set at 5 watts. User modes are present, of course, such as VW, TC with support for SS, Ti, and Ni, TCR, and TFR. The mod will allow coils with a resistance range from 0.05 to 3 ohms.
The Humvee comes with a nice set of safety features such as short circuit protection, low voltage protection, PCB over heat protection, and overcharge protection, making it a suitable for you if you’re a novice.
I like the fact that they’ve included USB-C. While many mods out there already use USB-C, a lot of them only allow up to 1 amp charging. The Humvee allows you to charge at 2.5 amps for much faster charging.
Of course, charging your batteries externally is usually the safest option, but in case you need to charge while traveling, this quick-charge feature means you will be puffing away in no time at all.
HOW MUCH DOES THE HUMVEE 215 COST?
The Humvee is neither expensive nor inexpensive for what you’re getting. In the UK, you can pick it up for about £45.00 from the UK ECIG STORE, and it’s around $50.00 in the US from VapeSourcing.
It is a bit of a shame that they haven’t included a tank to make it a full kit, but this does give you the freedom the find your favorite tank to pair with it.

CONCLUSION
The Sigelei Humvee 215 is a really great mod. It’s not going to be for everyone, but if you like a big, heavy-duty mod that has an ‘army-look’ then I would have to say that this is likely to be right up your street.
There are a couple of things I personally don’t like about it, but if I’m honest these little nit-picks are not enough to completely turn me off it.
Sigelei has been in the business for a long time and many of you will be familiar with them due to their previous track record. I have not seen anything of this caliber come from them in a while so it is nice to finally see them release a dual 18650 device that I do enjoy using.
