Pioneer4You has been providing a steady stream of IPV vapes for a while now, and so far I’ve yet to be disappointed with anything they’ve designed.
The IPV D2 was a decent vape, and it came highly recommended by friends.
My first impression was that it was a sleek, stylish ergonomic device, which I’d been looking for. But what else does it have to offer?

PACKAGING & DESIGN
It comes in a pretty straight-forward box. It’s got a nice modern look and it feels like quality when you hold it.
It does require 2 18650 batteries, which don’t necessarily come with it, depending on where you buy it, so it’s worth checking before you buy.

SHOULD YOU GET THE IPV5?
Yihi boards have a solid reputation for reliability and accuracy, and the IPV5 board was no different.
It puts out exactly the amount of power it’s supposed to with very little variance.
I’ve already mentioned the heft of this device, and I have to say there’s something about holding it in your hand that gives you a solid confidence in the device.
Maybe it was just the sturdiness over the ephemeral lightness of the Vape-Pen, but I really liked how it felt.
Some research afterwards revealed that occasionally the RDA comes malfunctioning, but no one I’ve met nor anyone I’ve talked to who owns one has experienced this.
Consider it a word of warning, but not something to overly concern yourself with.
After experimenting with it at various settings (Including 200W, which is a case of ‘You do NOT want to vape at this level’) I was completely satisfied with its performance.
Criticisms?
I really only have one aside from what I already mentioned up above.
There’s no screen protector over the LED, but the case looks like it was obviously designed for one.
Not really sure what P4U was thinking during the final development stage, but with all its other positive points, it’s a minor thing at worst.
Just take care when it’s raining out, without that protector you can pretty much guarantee there’s a straight line to the board for water.
