Joyetech Ego AIO Review

The Joyetech Ego Aio Starter Kit

We’re constantly being flooded with new devices that are loaded with all kinds of features.

There are still countless consumers out there who want nothing more than a basic e-cig that is easy to use, yet still delivers a nice hit of flavor.

That is often hard to find, unless of course you are willing to shell out large sums of money to get a top of the line box mod that comes with all the bells and whistles.

The good news is that there are a lot of excellent low-cost options out there that delver way more than you paid for.

One of those is the Joyetech eGO AIO.

If it’s simplicity at a great price that you are looking for, then the AIO, which stands for all-in one due to its ability to deliver mouth to lung or direct lung vaping, may well be the way to go.

Let’s take a closer look.

PACKAGING & DESIGN

They always say that you should never judge a book by its cover, but you get exactly what you see when you order the Joyetech eGo AIO.

It comes in a rectangular box that shows a picture of the mod on the front.

It’s simple, basic, and effective, much like the e-cigarette that it houses.

I mentioned the all-in-one (AIO) bit earlier, but the name can also apply to the fact that you get everything you need to start vaping in this great starter kit.

You have the pen, the extra coils, a tank, and the USB charger – all the essentials.

VAPOUR PRODUCTION

It doesn’t matter how sleek a vapourizer looks, it is going to live or die on how well it performs in the vapor production department.

The eGO AIO has the looks going for it, and the good news is that it also has the vapor working as well.

The vapor quality and flavor that you get from this device is excellent, and far exceeds any of those cigarette-looking e-cigs that are out there right now.

If you are looking to quit smoking, and want a replacement that will actually deliver a nice throat hit, then this is the way to go.

There is no need to mess around with temperatures or coil settings here, as this thing is ready to perform right out of the box.

FUNCTIONALITY

As I have stated from the start of this review, there is nothing fancy about this e-cig, but what it does deliver is truly effective.

You only have a single button to deal with, which is used to power the device off and on.

The top of the device screws off in order to allow for top loading of e-liquid, which does away with a lot of the mess that is often associated with that part of vaping.

The cap on this device can be continuously rotated, which may be confusing at first.

While you may think you are unscrewing the cap, what it is actually allowing you to do is open up a hidden airflow slot.

This is a great little touch. If you want to get access to the tank, you depress the cap slightly and turn it, just as you would with a child-proof bottle.

This is another nice touch of you have kids running around the house.

One of the best features of the drip tip is that it has a spiral design that prevents spit back or e-liquid getting into your mouth.

That helps with the purity of the flavor of all the liquids that you choose to use.

Adding liquid and changing coils is also very straightforward.

TANK DETAILS

The tank on the eGo AIO is good in all aspects except perhaps capacity. You get a tank that has an anti-leak set-up, but which is also only able to hold .2 ml of juice.

If you are a heavy vaper, you are going to be filling this thing up on a very regular basis. The fact that the tank is easy to load makes this little detail a little less frustrating.

Another cool touch with the tank is the ability to show off a little via a touch of LED coloring.

The ability to light up the tank in different colors is a cool touch, albeit an unnecessary one. It’s simply a way to add to the style of this thing, which I have already said is very nice.

BATTERY DETAILS

The 1500mAh battery that powers the eGo is not as powerful as what you find in other devices, but since this is not a variable wattage ecig, you really don’t need anything more powerful.

You get a nice battery life on a full charge, and with a USB charger added in the starter kit, you can pretty much power this thing up on the go.

LIKES

  • Great looking design for an e-cig
  • Child-locking technology
  • Very affordable
  • Easy to use right out of the box
  • Great vapor quality and taste
  • Top-loading design makes for quick liquid addition

DISLIKES

  • Rotating cap can be a little confusing at first
  • Small Tank Capacity

SHOULD YOU GET THE EGO AIO?

The pros of the Joyetech eGo AIO far outweigh the cons.

It really is hard to complain about anything when you consider the small investment you have to make to get such a great ego vape pen.

If you’re looking for something simple yet effective, they really don’t come much better than this.
