VAPOUR PRODUCTION

 

Thanks to its powerful 4.2-volt battery, the V2 Shisha Pen is able to produce enough vapor in one hit to satisfy most vapers. I am really impressed with the vapor production, and it gave me a good throat hit.

 

FUNCTIONALITY

 

With the V2 Shisha Pen, simplicity is paramount. It’s comprised of two parts (the battery and cartridge) which are easily fitted together. You can choose an automatic battery or manual, dependent on your preferences. I found them both really easy to use, but I did prefer the automatic.

 

CLEAROMISER

 

As you know, the Express Kit includes a refillable clearomiser, which gives you the option to use an e-liquid of your choice if you don’t like what you get from V2. Keep in mind that they should only be re-filled around 15 to 20 times before they need replacing. You can get black replacements on their site for £13.95.

I think the price for these refillable cartomisers is a little steep, especially if you are a heavy user. On the plus side, they are extremely light and are nowhere near as bulky as many others on the market.  V2Cigs do make some delicious e-liquid flavors worth trying too (in both cartridge and bottle form). If you’re not sure about a flavor you can try them with smaller and less expensive sample packs. My three favorites are the Cherry, Cola and Grape.

 

BATTERY DETAILS

 

The rechargeable battery is available in three sizes—short, medium, and long—and you can also choose between manual and automatic. I found that the automatic lasted a little longer than the manual, but I can’t be sure that this will always be the case or if it was just the ones we tested. Each battery should give you all-day use and  at least 300 puffs.

 

PRICE & SHIPPING CHARGES

 

The entire kit retails for £36.95. It may sound a little pricey at first glance, but remember that you also get 25ml of an e-liquid included, which retail for over £13 alone. If you’re not interested in getting the e-liquid could get the basic V2 Shisha Pen UK kit for £24.95. This lower-priced includes the battery, refillable cartridge, and charger with a wall adapter.

Inside the UK, shipping will add a flat £3. However, if your order totals more than £58, the shipping cost is waived. It’s a shame they don’t offer free postage because if you need to buy new cartomisers, which aren’t cheap as they are, you’d need to buy at least 5 to take advantage of the free postage.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t justify spending £13.95 + £3.00 postage on a new cartomiser. Instead, I’d have to buy at least three to bring to cost down to £1.00 per kit. Bt as I said previously, these cartomisers are a little pricey so adding an extra pound for each pack is something that really turns me off this kit.

There is a 6 month warranty for the V2 Shisha Pen should there be any faults with the device.
