Personal Vapourizers are a good next step up from less powerful cig-a-like e-cigs and vape pens. We’re going to take a look at the V2 Pro Series 3 Vapourizer Kit and see if it’s a good place for you to get started.
There is more to this Pen than simply vaping e-liquid. It also supports dry herb vaping with the loose leaf cartridges.
Let’s take a closer look and see if this is a good all round Personal Vapourizer Pen…
- Not overly bulky for a personal vaporiser (roughly the size of a Sharpie marker)
- Can accommodate e-liquid, loose-leaf, or wax/oil cartridges
- Color choice of black, blue, or stainless steel
- Pass-through Charging

V2 PRO SERIES 3 VAPORIZER PEN
The V2 Pro Series 3 features a 650mAh battery with 3.2-4.2 voltage, which isn’t the highest power you’ll find in a MOD, but it should be enough to get you through a days vaping if you’re not a heavy vaper. I’d hope to see an improvement on this in future models so that this could also suit people like me who vape quite regularly throughout the day.
One somewhat odd feature of the device is that it automatically shuts off every two minutes. I can only put this down to V2 trying to help us preserve as much of the battery possible in between usage and non-usage.
It’s easy to re-start (press the button for about two seconds) but this could become annoying if you prefer a long, continuous vape session. It’s a feature that really grinds on me as I often found myself trying to vape only to realise it’s turned itself off. This may not bother you so much, but it really did my head in. Personally, I’d prefer them to remove this and improve the battery.
I found that it could handle around 12-15 mini-sessions. One positive in having a smaller battery is that it only took a little over an hour to charge. When I realised that the battery wouldn’t get me through an entire day of vaping I decided to just use it at home, which suited me okay.
If you’re looking for fancy extras like extra buttons, wattage control, or digital displays, you’ll probably find the V2 Pro too simple as it doesn’t come with these features. Still, it’s a well-built, attractive, and pretty high-tech vape pen.
MAGNETIC USB CHARGING LEAD
Something I really like about this Pen is the pass-through charging. This basically means that the charger attaches via a magnet to the bottom of the vaporiser enabling you to vape while it’s plugged in, but only after it has aroudn 20ish minutes of charge.
If this is your only vaporiser and you only have the one battery this will likely come in handy as it’s more than likely going to run out of battery if you vape it regularly throughout the day.
CARTRIDGES
This tank has a fairly small capacity of 1.6ml, which lasts up to 800 puffs depending on the length of your draw. It should have a lifetime of about 15-20 full refills, though it’s recommended that you always keep the e-liquid topped off to keep the wick moist.
The Series 3 bears that name because it’s a “3-in-1” device that can also accommodate loose-leaf tobacco and waxes/oils. E-liquids unquestionably rule the vaping market, but there are also tanks that can handle other substances.
If dry herbs are more your style, add a V2 Pro Series 3 Loose Leaf and Dry Herb cartridge to your order, or their Wax Cartridge for concentrates. While I did try these out for the purpose of the review, herbal vaping is not something I’d usually do. The herbal cartridge and wax cartridge does vape well, but I think I’ll stick to vaping e-juice.
VAPOUR PRODUCTION
At 650mAh, the V2 Pro might not make you feel like a dragon breathing fire and smoke, but its production is satisfactory.
If you’re used to smaller devices or disposable e-cigs you probably will feel like a small dragon breathing out smoke as this is produces much more than most smaller e-cigs.
PRICE & SHIPPING CHARGES
At £59.99, this kit won’t break the bank, and if the perks of the product appeal to you, it’s probably worth it. However, if you’re only planning to vape e-liquid this is quite an expensive bit of kit, and for a similar price you’ll easily find a vapourizer or MOD that will include a much more power battery or two.
Shipping is free within the UK if you spend over £58 Inside the UK. If you don’t spend that much, it will cost you £2.75, which is still pretty cheap. US customers can get free shipping on orders over $50.00. Spend anything less than that and you’ll need to pay for it and the cost will depend on how quickly you want your order.
WARRANTY & GUARANTEE
The V2 Pro Series 3 comes with a 6 month warranty. You’ll also have two weeks (14 days) to return the kit for a full refund under the guarantee. Unlike some guarantees we’ve found, this allows you to open and try the product.
In these 14 days, if you feel it isn’t for you, return it undamaged and include the original packaging and you’ll get a refund. Perfect if you’d like to give herbal vaping a try, but not overly sure if you’re gonna like it!

OVERALL PURCHASE SATISFACTION
The few drawbacks I found in this device certainly don’t impact customer satisfaction. Reviews describe the V2 Pro as “incredible,” “brilliant,” and “the best product ever.”
As is to be expected, some did experience some glitches, but overall, the kit was met with nothing but rave reviews. The V2 Pro Series 3 is a cool little device, great for those who want a sleek, simple personal vaporiser or want to experiment with loose leaf or wax vaping.
However, it’s not ideal for heavier vapers who need a long battery charge from their devices, prefer a larger capacity for their e-liquid, or want more control over the functionality of the device.
