In the vaping world, it often seems as though bigger is better, as it’s not uncommon to see people hauling around big box mod units that delivers plumes of vapor.
It’s not everyone that’s looking to draw that much attention to themselves, though, which is why smaller units are widely sought after.
The Vaporesso Target Mini 40W definitely falls into the small category, but does its size limit its ability to get the job done? Let’s take a look and see.
PACKAGING & DESIGN
This is a beautifully packaged unit, and the quality of the package is very much delivered with the device itself.
Vaporesso have done a great job of essentially shrinking down the vapourizer to a size that assures discretion for those folks who don’t want to bring a lot of attention to themselves or just want something small and compact.
The electronic cigarette really does look good, and comes in a variety of different colors for you to choose from. It’s ergonomically pleasing, and fits comfortably in the hand, while the controls are very well thought out.

FUNCTIONALITY
The first thing you notice when you pick this unit up is that it is lightweight, but the carbon fiber grip also lets you know that you are getting a very durable little unit.
The power button, which is in a contrasting color to the unit, is well placed at the top of the piece, while the temperature control buttons sit below the OLED display, which is clear and easy to read.
This little baby cranks out as much as 40W, but the variable temperature settings allow you to play around a little. On top of the main unit is where you will find the Guardian Tank. Not the biggest in the world, as you might expect, but one that is easy to use.
It’s filled from the top, and the coil changing part of the process is as easy as it gets. It’s also leak-proof and child-proof, which help give it even more brownie points.
BATTERY DETAILS
The Target Mini 40W is powered by a 1400maH internal battery that can be charged using the provided mini USB cable.
The tank and battery pairing has been well thought out by Vaporesso, and you get a pretty nice little vaping experience without having to go all the way up to 40W.

SHOULD YOU GET THE TARGET MINI?
Like most mini mods, I wouldn’t recommend the Vaporesso Target Mini 40W for everyday use.
It is an ideal little back-up device that can be used when you don’t want to lug around a big box mod – there really isn’t much about it I can fault.
